Friendsgiving

Last weekend was American Thanksgiving holiday. Many Americans celebrated by going back home and having traditional dinners with their families. In the holiday, they think about the things in their lives they are thankful for.

At Haas, we celebrated Friendsgiving. We are thankful for our Haas friends and have holiday dinners together with them. During the past week we held several dinners with our classmates and friends, both American and international.

I got to eat traditional American holiday food for the first time. The most popular dishes are pumpkin pie, mashed potatoes topped with baked marshmallow, sweet potato, and stuffing (pieces of fried bread with seasoning). I can’t wait for next year to have more traditional dishes with my Haas friends!
